First: Talk to your neighborsThe first step of the process is to communicate with the unfortunate souls that share a wall {keyword} ass frequencies that come from your subwoofer are going to be some of the most annoying to your neighbors, because they're so hard to dampen and the vibrations travel so easily. Try sticking an extra piece of carpet or a thick foam rubber pad under your subwoofer to quiet it up. However, if that fails, you may need to just...Turn it down (or get some headphones)We know it isn't what you want to hear, but especially in close-quarters apartment buildings with thin walls, you may just have to compromise on the noise level. Turn down the volume, turn down your subwoofer, do whatever it takes to get the volume to a more appropriate level or at least a level that's easily drowned out by the above DIY tips.Alternatively, get yourself some headphones and use those for watching your movies or listening to music (you may need an extension cord for the movies). is a great way to keep you and your neighbors happy. It's still a compromise, but it's a pretty darn good one in our opinion, since you can still listen to your music as loud as you want without anyone complaining.Four roommates who confess they're online "pretty much all day" make a pact to engage in a digital detox â two weeks without smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more. They tell TODAY's Natalie Morales it has made them "less dysfunctional."More from Lifehacker: Explore related topics: People.com5 {keyword} 297,5

Even after an 8-5 finish in 2012, some national analysts are expecting Michigan to regress with the loss of quarterback/playmaker Denard Robinson. Not Phil Steele. In fact, Steele puts Michigan in 2013. Before the 2012 season, Steele projected U-M to finish below expectations (it was ranked No. 8 in preseason) largely because of its difficult schedule. The Wolverines lost to four teams in the Associated Press' final Top 10: No. 1 Alabama, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 4 Notre Dame and No. 8 South Carolina in the Outback Bowl. The other loss was on the road to No. 25 Nebraska."It starts with the schedule, as the Crimson Tide fall off and are replaced by Central Michigan, while Notre Dame, Nebraska and Ohio State all travel to the Big House, where Brady Hoke is a perfect 14-0 in his first two seasons as head coach," Steele writes. "Keep in mind the Wolverines lost to the Irish and Buckeyes by a combined 12 points thanks to costly turnovers, and were trailing the Cornhuskers by a single point before Robinson's injury, which could have been a blessing in disguise, as it got backup quarterback Devin Gardner a couple of starts under his belt."Look for the offense to make major strides with a legitimate passing attack, and the defense will continue to be stout for coordinator Greg Mattison. Hoke will also welcome in one of the best recruiting classes in the country. I fully expect Michigan to top its win total from 2012."Furthermore, Wolverines offensive tackle Taylor Lewan despite being projected as a first-round pick in the NFL draft. You can read more from Steele (though you'll need an ESPN Insider account).

The tournament is scheduled for April 11-14. Wiratchant, who became the oldest winner of the Asian Tour Order of Merit by topping the money list in 2012, will be making his first Masters appearance. The 46-year-old holds the Asian Tour record for most career victories, having won for the 15th time at the Indian Open last October. The Thai golfer was ecstatic after his new year resolution of making a Masters debut was fulfilled so unexpectedly. "When my manager informed me, I initially thought she was joking," he told the Asian Tour. "I didn't expect to receive an invitation and I was planning to work hard to break into the world's top-50 (by the end of March) to qualify for the Masters." Wiratchant will become the fourth Thai after Sukree Onsham, Thongchai Jaidee and Prayad Marksaeng to tee off at the Augusta National and making the cut for the weekend rounds will be his top priority. "I'll try to make the cut... that would be the goal. If I don't make it, then I want to ensure that I had played my best," he said. "The players at the Masters are all good players and it is a very challenging golf course. "Every year, I watch the Masters on TV and I think to myself that it's such a difficult golf course. "I have spoken to Thongchai and Prayad about their experiences in the Masters previously and I will talk to them again to find out more about the golf course. "From what I've seen, you have to be good in every department, especially around the greens which are very fast and tricky. I am sure it will be really challenging but I am looking forward to my first trip there." Wiratchant hoped his late debut will be an inspiration for other players on the Asian Tour who aspire to play in the Masters and the other majors. This edition will also mark the 21-year-old Ishikawa's fifth consecutive start at the Masters where he has missed the cut on three occasions and finished tied for 20th in 2011.
